Who I am
Temitayo Olatunde is a policy analyst and civil society leader. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Temvert Empowerment Foundation, a Nigerian youth empowerment organisation working on education equity, girls' empowerment and livelihoods across Southwest and Northern Nigeria.
For more than six years he has run programmes in underserved communities. He carries what he learns there into international fora, including the UN General Assembly, ECOSOC, the World Bank and IMF Annual Meetings and the WTO Public Forum.
Too many decisions about Africa are made without the people who live with the results. He sees his role as a bridge, bringing evidence and lived experience from communities to the people who shape policy and investment.
He holds an MA in International Relations (Merit) from the University of Lincoln and a BA in English and International Studies from Osun State University.
